#POGBACK.
Manchester United have completed the signing of French star midfielder Paul
Pogba 23, from Juventus for record £89m. Pogba is again a Man United player
after he left united in 2013 when Alex Ferguson allowed him to join Juventus on
a 5-year deal and now he wears number 6 United shirt vacated by Jonny Evans
last year.
Paul Pogba is now the most expensive player in the history of world
football beating Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale who signed from Tottenham for £85m back
in 2014.
In the last tenure as United player under Sir Alex Ferguson, Paul Pogba
made his debut in the league cup at Leeds in September 2011 but after that he
made only six substitutes appearances for United in the 2011/12 season. Fergie’s
decision to play Rafael Da Silva in the midfield ahead of Pogba against
Blackburn, as well as Paul Scholes return from retirement eight days later,
convinced Pogba to move away from United once his contract expires in the
summer.
After joining Turin side Juventus, Pogba won 4 Seria A titles and 2
Italians Cup with them and he named 2014 World Cup’s best young player.
In his
first interview after rejoining Manchester United he said he came back home and
he just went for holidays and happy after coming back home. No doubt he is the
best signing of the summer and Man United will definitely be the title favorites
with the signings they have made under Jose Mourinho with the likes of Zlatan
Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailey, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and now the best midfielder of the
year alongside Modric and Iniesta, Paul Pogba is enough to win them at least
Premier League. Paul brings stability in the Man United midfield, he is quick, strong, creative, score goals and his holding the midfield is just what United needs and
United will certainly achieve big things with him. He is young and will continue to improve and has the chance to be at the heart of this club for the next decade.
