The new-boys of LaLiga suffers a very disappointed weekend against the devastating Barcelona front three Lionel Messi, Luid Suarez and Neymer as Catalan giants ran out 5-1 winners against Leganes.
MSN helped each other to a goal each before half-time to put Barcelona in a commanding position. Barcelona came into this game off the back of a thumping 7-0 win over Celtic in the Champions League in midweek, but they were expected to have a tricky tie against Leganes who already made a solid start to the campaign and also a 0-0 draw against title-contenders Atletico Madird.
Barcelona attacking showdown starts in the 14th minute when Messi rolls the ball home after an inch-perfect pass from Luis Suarez from the wing. From then on, Leganes heads seemed to drop, as they backed off Barcelona and let them play their devastating football.
Just after the 30-minute mark, Messi picked the ball inside the Leganes half, beats three players before rolling the ball across the box for Suaraz to tap-in. Neymar came into the party just after the half-time with another beautifully crafted goal. It was another tap-in and the easiest of the three from six yards as Suarez found himself bearing down on goal before providing Neymar who scored with the easiest of tap-ins.
The second half was more of the same with Barcelona looking like scoring every time they came forward. Messi scored his second of the match in the second half as he took the responsibility from the 12 yards and powered the ball into the top corner.
Ten minutes later, it was Rafinha's stunning strike which gave no chance to the Leganes stopper Serantes for the fifth Barcelona goal.
There was still time for another moment of magic but this time from the home side. Foul by Pigue gave Leganes the free-kick from 25-yards out, and midfielder Gabriel took full advantage by curling the ball beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the goal.
This goal might not be important for the match point-of-view as it cannot be able to turn the match on Leganes favor, however, this was the first goal Leganes have ever scored at home in the Spanish top-flight. Leganes fans went home with something to cheer but Saturday's match was all about the brilliance of Barcelona's front-trio.
