Biggest Transfer in Seria A History

Juventus should be thrilled with the signing of 28 years old star striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli as they secured the Argentinian international for huge 79 Million Pounds, the same Real Madrid had spent on Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2009 from Manchester United. This deal means Higuain move to Juvestus is the biggest transfer in the Seria A history.

Napoli fans are furious with Higuain over his move to the rivals as they considered him the next Meradona for the club. But, with this deal, it is now clear cut that they will not go only for the Seria A but instead they are now one of the clear cut favorites for the Champions league in the coming season 2016-17. They have the best defense in Italy along with solid midfield and now with the lethal combination of Paulo Dybala and Higuain they could go on and win the Champions league, which is now realistically very achievable for Max Allegri’s side. Higuain brings strength to the squad and with his inclusion in the side it is clear that they will score more goals upfront because of his goal scoring ability. He scored record 36 goals in Seria A for Napoli last season which sees them back in the Champions league. He surely will prove to be an excellent signing for the Old Lady.
