Saviet and Veretout Move Back to Ligue 1

Newcastle United midfielder Henri Saviet has joined French club Saint-Etienne on loan until the end of the season.

The Senegal international joined Newcastle United in January from Bordeaux but has made only four appearances for the club.

Saviet last played for Magpies at the start of February, when he comes on for the final minutes of the play from the bench in a home victory over West Brom.

Championship outfit midfielder Jordan Veretout has also joint Saint-Etienne on a season long loan.

Veretout signs for Aston Villa from French club Nantes for reportedly £8m last summer.
