Premier League game-week 3 ended with Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all have a perfect record of three wins out of three under their new managers. Here are some fun facts after the end of the game-week 3.
- Liverpool and Tottenham ended in a 1-1 draw as James Milner opener was cancelled out by Danny Rose in the second half. James Milner has now scored in 42 Premier League match without losing (W34, D8). Only Darius Vassell (46 games) has more.
- Chelsea eased past high-flying Burnley by 3-0 thanks to Hazard, Willian and Victor Moses goals. Eden Hazard has now scored six goals in his last eight Premier League matches, having scored six in 44 fixtures prior to that.
- Bottom of the table clash between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth ended in a 1-1 draw courtesy of Scott Dann's late equalizer for Eagles as both clubs search for first win of the season continues. Scott Dann has scored the most Premier League goals by a defender since the start of 2015/16 (six).
- Everton beat Stoke a narrow 1-0 margin with a Shay Given own goal. Stoke goalkeeper Given recorded his second own goal in the Premier League. Both were against Everton, the other being in October 2007.
- Champions Leicester recorded their first win of the season by beating Swansea 2-1 with Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan on the scoresheet. Jamie Vardy has now become the third Leicester City player to score 30 Premier League goals, after Muzzy Izzet and Emile Heskey (both 33).
- Southampton and Sunderland ended in a 1-1 draw with late goals from Jermaine Defoe and Jay Rodriguez. Southampton forward Rodriguez has scored his first premier league goal since March 2014.
- Arsenal claimed their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Watford. One of the goalscorer for Arsenal Alexis Sanchez has scored in all three of his Premier League appearances versus Watford.
- Manchester United beat Hull City with injury time winner from teenager Marcos Rashford. With his late winner against Hull, Rashford is the first teenager to score a Premier League goal for a team managed by Jose Mourinho.
- West Brom and Middlesbrough clash ended in 0-0 draw. Only Arsenal (27) and Manchester United (25) have kept more Premier League clean sheets than West Brom (23), since Tony Pulis took charge in Jan 2015.
- Manchester City continues their 100% record in the season with a 3-1 win against West Ham. Michael Antonio scored the only goal for the Hammers. Since August 2015, no English midfielder has scored more Premier League goals than Michael Antonio (10).
