Plenty of excitement for
the fans in the past six days of the Rio Olympics and why wouldn’t, they are
here for some exciting actions and they get it more than they want. Archery,
Gymnastics, Athletics, Badminton, Beach Volleyball, Sprint, Cycling, Football,
Golf, Handball, Hockey, Swimming, Rugby Sevens and many other sports have been
played between athletes of different countries in order to earn medals for
their countries. Day 6 of the Olympics also have some very watchful events.
In
the rowing, 6 gold medals were handed out between different players, two of
them went to German side.
In Tennis, Britain star Andy Murray through to the
quarters after beating Fabio Fognini 2 sets to 1, will face Steve Johnson in
the quarter-final. Brazil, Nigeria, South Korea and Portugal all go through to
the quarters of men’s football as group leaders. Fiji will play against Great
Britain in the Rugby Sevens later tonight.
As of now, United States leads the
table with 11 gold to their name, 32 total medals, leaving behind China who won
10 gold and Japan stood at third with total 18 medals including 6 gold medals.
