Manchester City striker Sergio Kun Aguero will miss the next three Premier League matches including the big Manchester derby due to suspension.
Sergio Aguero was in hot form lately and scored six goals in all competitions so far under Guardiola but will miss the match against Manchester United after picking up three match ban for violent conduct, after he appeared to elbow West Ham defender Winston Reid in Manchester City's 3-1 win.
The FA confirmed it suspended the striker retroactively for the incident, which the referee Andre Marriner missed at the time. Now the Argentinian will miss the Premier League showpiece with Manchester United at Old Trafford, Bournemouth and a trip to Swansea City in the EFL Cup.
Guardiola now will be without his powerful striker is far from ideal as he looks to gain an early advantage in the title race over United. In Aguero's place, Kelechi Iheancho could get the nod, or new arrival Leroy Sane may be set to make his debut, which sees Nolito move into Aguero's position.
