It's been a quite summer transfer window for some of the big guns of Spanish La Liga as La Liga clubs spent €492.2 million on signings in the 2016 summer transfer window.
It was quite window by previous Liga standards, with regular big spenders Real Madrid paying just €30 million to bring back Alvaro Morata to the Bernabeu from Serie A champions Juventus after two years.
Champions Barcelona were the biggest spenders in La Liga splashing €122.4 million on six signings, with Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes, who cost them an initial €35 million from Valencia, the most expensive deal of the window in La Liga.
Others players that Barca brought into the team are defenders Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne, attacking midfielder Denis Suarez, striker Paco Alcacer and goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.
Europa League champions Sevilla were third on the list spending €56.2 million. However, Sevilla received €86.2 million from the sale of players including Kevin Gameiro, who went to Atletico Madrid for €32 million deal.
Valencia brought in the most revenue from transfers, with the departures of Paco Alcacer and Andre Gomes to Barcelona, and Shkodren Mustafi to Arsenal yielding €112.2 million.
They spend €32 million on acquisitions, including €22 million for Mustafi's repacement, Argentina defender Ezequiel Garay.
Atletico Bilbao were the only La Liga club not to make any signing.
