Luis Suarez and Munir
El-Haddadi’s goals in the second half
separated the two teams in the 2016 Spanish Super Cup 1st leg as
Barcelona beat Sevilla by 2-0.
It was a hard fought
victory for the Catalans but they manage to find a way to as they always does.
Sevilla was pressing high
in the first half and does not allow the opposition to open up with their
passing, having the ball and making it impossible for the opposition to take
possession of the ball. The only good chance the visitors had in the first half
came through Luis Suarez shot in the first few minutes, which Sergio Rico saved
very well. Other than that, there was no significant display from Barca to
scare the opposition.
On top of that, they had to
lose Jeremy Mathieu and Iniesta through injury in the first half.
First goal come in the
second half with move started from Denis Suarez, who’s lob pass finds Arda
Turan and the Turkish then passed the ball with his chest leaving Suarez with
an easy finish.
