Conte Up & Running Thanks to Spainiards Late Winner

Antonio Conte era as Chelsea manager has started with Diego Costa winner, as Chelsea beat West Ham in their opening Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge by 2-1.

Chelsea were dominated and bossing the game throughout the match as West Ham struggled to make any big impression in the first 70 minutes before James Collins
thunderbolt half volley in the 77th minute against the run of play gives West Ham equalizer.

This was their first shot on target and James Collins loves playing against Chelsea, as he scored 9th goal of his career, four of them come against Chelsea.

Chelsea should have been ahead by three to four goals but West Ham kept themselves in the game and fair play to them as they find the way to equalize.

The match was headed for a draw when Diego Costa held his nerves and scores a wonderful long strike, which beats Adrian past the net for the late winner and ensures Conte era starts with a win.

Eden Hazard got his season up and running by scoring from the spot. He showed brief but encouraging glimpses that he is reigning his confidence, and his couple of trademark dribbling runs show signs of old Hazard back.

Costa was lucky not to get the second yellow card as he clattered into Hammers stopper. Then the controversial Spaniard then arrived at the death to power home a strike that angers the Hammers.
