AS Roma has completed the
signing of Brazilian wing back Bruno Peres from Torino.
The agreement has been
completed between the clubs for the player is an initial €1m loan with an
obligation to make the transfer permanent which depends on the player’s
performance over completion of objectives, for a fee of €12.5m.
The 26-years old Brazilian
played two seasons for his native country club Santos before moving out for
Torino for €2m in 2014.
He makes 65 appearances for
Turin side scoring six goals and seven assists.
“I’m absolutely delighted
to start this new challenge. I can’t wait to meet my new team-mates and show
the coach what I can do”, Perez told asroma.com.
Perez not only improve the defensive stability
of Roma but also he can be devastating for the opponents with his pace and
skill in the attack and prove to be vital addition to the Spaletti squad.
His
2014 goal against Juventus in Derby Della Mole dazzled the Old Lady with one of
the best solo goals of the year. He picked the ball from his own penalty area,
dribbled 78 meters to score the strike of his career.
Many sees him as a heir
of Maicon and prefers to play alongside center-backs who allows him to attack
and get forward. Perez can become a complete package for Spaletti, as he is
forceful in attack and dominant in defense.
