Some quality fixtures are upon us as there will be goals and excitement in the coming two days across European leagues. Transfer window is nearly on the closing stages and less than a week left for the teams to include fire-power in their squads. Let's review some of the biggest clashes in the next two days.
Starts with the Premier League, match day 3 kicks off between the two giants of English football, Tottenham against Liverpool. Spurs had a brilliant last season under Mauricio Pochettino and ended their 2015/16 campaign in the Champions League spot at 3rd place. They will be hoping to win their first Premier League match against Liverpool in eight encounters when the teams face each other tomorrow at White Hart lane. Spurs have 4 points after the first two games and are looking to win against their opponents, having lost two of the last three home games without scoring a goal against them.
Liverpool defense away from home looks frail and it shows in the first two games as they won against Arsenal but lost against newly promoted Burnley. They have conceded 5 goals in the first two games and Jurgen Kloop are looking concerned ahead of their clash against big London club.
After securing Champions League spot by beating Spanish outfit Villarreal 3-1, Monaco are looking to make it a second win in a week as they welcome reigning Champions Paris-Saint German at Stade Louis II.
Monaco started their season with a 2-2 draw against Guingamp and a narrow 1-0 win over Nantes makes it four points out of possible six. They want to match their result from March this year and defeat Les Parisiens for the second time in just five months.
Two wins in two matches, six points and four goals scored without conceded a single goal, it's been so far so good for the PSG new manager Uani Emery. Their 1-0 win over Bastia and 3-0 againstc FC Metz shows they are no longer count on talisman striker Ibrahimovic and they are going about their business in the right direction.
Two of the Bundesliga heavyweights will be against each other as we will see some mouth-watering action in the opening weekend of the Bundesliga 2016/17 season.
Borussia Park will host two of the Champions League group stage teams tomorrow as they will see Borussia Monchengladbach facing Bayer leverkusen in the opening fixture. Gladbach just qualify for the group stage beating Switzerland club BSC Young Boys by comprehensive 9-2 aggregate scoreline and have a slight edge over their opponent.
Bayer Leverkusan adds Kevin Volland and Julian Baumgartlingerin in their squad and they are looking for a winning start to their new season under Roger Schmidt. There will be a guaranteed attacking display between both the sides but visitors are without their star striker Javier Hernandez due to injury.
