Schalke have completed the signing of out-of-favor PSG midfielder Benjamin Stambouli on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year old won Ligue 1 with PSG in his last season with them and made 27 appearances for the club during title winning campaign but after the arrival of new manager Unai Emery, he was deemed surplus to requirement after PSG signed experienced Sevilla midfielder Krychowiak and because of that he was not in the future plans of Unai Emery.
The former France U21 international signed for PSG from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur where he made 12 league appearances for the club in 11 months at London.
The French midfielder was also won Ligue 1 title with French club Montpellier back in 2012.
Italy international and PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has also left PSG to join Europa League champions Sevilla on season-long loan.
