Leicester target Adrian Silva confirms £21m switch to King Power from Sporting Lisbon.
Silva was part of Portugal's Euro 2016 triumph.
He said: "After the past 15 years at Sporting, this opportunity is something exceptional for me and can allow me to express and impose myself in another championship, which is a stunning league. Yes, I confirm this proposal. Leicester is very interesting and corresponds to my career goals. I love Sporting as a family and I dedicated myself to the club since I was 12 years old".
The midfielder has scored 27 goals in 140 appearances for the club since breaking into the first team in 2007.
His Sporting teammate Islam Slimani also looks set to seal a move to the Foxes, leaving the pitch in tears as the club beat Porto 2-1 on Sunday .
Leicester are willing to pay £25m, but Sporting are keen on holding out for £34.1m.
Since moving to Sporting in 2013, Islam Slimani has netted 31 goals in 46 matches for the club. Slimani also scored 23 goals in 43 caps for his country.
