Southampton have completed club-record signing of Moroccan winger Sofiane Boufal from LOSC Lille on a five-year deal for around £17m.
The winger arrives after just one-and-a-half seasons with Lille where he impressed alot during his time with the club. Boufal was a highlighted player in the last season for the French club, although they finished eighth in France's top flight as he scored 11 goals and have 4 assists to his name.
He also created 69 chances bettered only by three players in the league. He also completed an incredible 124 successful dribbles, only Hatem Ben Arfa made more successful dribbles with 149.
Boufal can play on both flanks as well as centre but the things he needs to improve on is his decision making in the final third. Having lost both his Graziano Pelle and Sadio Mane this summer, Nathan Redmond is the only attacking recruit thus far prior to their capture of Boufal.
