Premier League champions
Leicester City begin their new season with 2-1 loss over newly promoted Hull
City.
The Tigers begin their season with a bang having only 13 senior players
fit for action, they were in such a crises with their best player Jack
Livermore played out of position in the center of defense and without permanent
manager, yet they are off to a dream start.
It’s the first time that the
defending champions have lost their first match of the season since 1989-90.
Claudio Ranieri’s men were disorganized in all areas of the pitch as they paid
the price for awful defending at the back. First, Diomande opened the scoring
with a fine overhead kick right before half time, but soon Leicester recover
from that scalp courtesy of a soft penalty from Riyad Mahrez. Leicester looking
to get some rhythm back, but then again punished as Robert Snodgrass fired Hull
in the lead in the 57th min with a fine long range drive.
