It was new man Pablo Piatti for Espanyol who opens the scoring in the 8th minute, but soon Sevilla new signings Pablo Sarabia and Luciano Vietto struck double to take the lead 2-1 inside the 25 minutes of the first half.
Perez and Victor Sanchez strikes gives the away side 3-2 half time lead, but in the second half, it was all over Sevilla who completely dominated the second half and inside the first 30 minutes of the second half, home team struck 4 goals in no time to make sure of the victory. Gerard Moreno then scored in th 79th minute but it was all too late for them as they lost 6-4 at the end.
All the six goals were scored by the new signings for Sevilla as they pay off right from the start of the season.
In an another match between Granada and Villarreal, both teams earned a point after 1-1 draw in a tight affair.
