Krul Joins Ajax on Season-Long loan After Signing New Contract with the Magpies

Championship outfit Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has joined his native club Ajax on a season-long loan after signing one year deal with the Magpies.

The 28-year old has extended his contract with Newcastle United until 2018.

Krul has not played since last October when he reptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Krul has joined Ajax on loan to fill the boots of goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, who recently joined Barcelona to replace Claudio Bravo.
