Sunderland Seal Manquillo Loan Deal, Schalke gets Bentalab

Sunderland have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid full-back Javier Manquillo on a season-long loan.

Sunderland have an option to sign the defender on a four-year deal at the end of the loan.

Manquillo played his last season on loan to French Ligue 1 club Marseille. This will be his second stint at the Premier League having previously played for Liverpool on a season long loan in 2014/15 season.

Tottenham have confirmed have out-of-favor Nabil Bentalab has joined Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 for the rest of the season on loan.

The 21-year old will spend the 2016/17 season on loan with Schalke 04, who are understood to have the option to make the deal permanent.

Spurs valued the Algerian internatonal around £15m.
