Manchester United will take
on Southampton at Old Trafford tonight on Friday for matchday 2, as new feature
of Premier League’s Friday night football also introduced for the first time.
Manchester United looks to
win second win in a row under Jose Mourinho and more importantly £89m record
signing Paul Pogba will have his first appearance for the club tonight against
Saints.
Pogba missed first match of
the season due to suspension against Bournemouth and is all set to play for the
Red Devils at Old Trafford.
Manchester United won their
first game beating Cheries 3-1 with Mata, Rooney and Ibrahimovic all on the
score sheet, while new center-back Eric Bailey and Daley Blind’s pair also
looks impressive. United wants to do the same over Saints tonight in front of
their home fans and repeat the last weekend’s performance.
Red Devils have never
beaten Southampton at Old Trafford since 2013, losing 2 and draw one. Mourinho
will surely wants to end this run as new Saints manger Claude Puel’s men draw
their first game against Watford 1-1.
All eyes tonight on Paul
Pogba’s return to the Premier League and his return to his former club
Manchester United.
