Real Agrees Norwegian Starlet Loan Move to French Club for Development

The 17-years old Real Madrid prospect is all set to move French side Rennes on a season long loan in order to gain some first team football at the club.

Martin Odegaard has failed to force his way into the Madrid team and this is obvious for the 17-years old that he needs game time and development before coming through to the ranks of Bale Ronaldo, James and the likes.

The Norwegian international played preseason with the team but failed to make the cut as Zidane feels he needs some game time in order to play for the Spanish giants.

Rennes have been admirers for the teenagers for quite some time and wants to have him in the team and have jumped ahead of Liverpool and Hamburg to capture him for the 2016/17 season.

Odegaard is keen to move to Germany as Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg wants his services for the next season but Zidane convinced him Ligue 1 would better serve his development.
