Titanic Clash on Gameweek 1

Can Arsenal’s injury prone defense sustain Liverpool promising attack minded squad?
The biggest clash of the Gameweek 1 2016/17 season kicks off today between Liverpool and Arsenal at the Emirates stadium. The concern for the Gunners are plentiful ahead of the big clash.

Defensively they are lacking numbers and quality, the attack is hindered by the same concerns as last season and there is a midfield who has to deal with such a situation. Apart from one good signing, Granit Xhaka from Borussia Mönchengladbach, they could be able to do much to convince good players to sign for Arsenal, and in they will be without their three of the main defenders, Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel and Club captain Per Mertesacker, due to injuries during the pre-season.

Inexperience Rob Holding and Culam Chambers are the only two players who will fill the gap of the center back position, so things are not going well for Arsenal ahead of their new season.

Liverpool on the other hand, signed Loris Karius from Mainz in summer with a view to making him No.1, but a broken hand will delay his debut at least a month.

Liverpool change their game under Jurgen Klopp over the last ten months with a more attack minded approach but their main concern is the left back position which they need to deal with it as soon as they can. Moreno had been poor in the last season, and many of the goals Liverpool had conceded were created from that position.
