Premier League Stars in the Making

In the recent community shield match between Leicester City and Manchester United, thirty minutes into the match, Danny Simpson clears the ball but only found Lingard at the center circle, six seconds and he beats as many Leicester defenders to go all the way and scores a sublime solo goal. His second goal at Wembley in the same second appearance, the first goal came in the FA cup final. He will be 24 in December but his career remains uneven in the United shirt with too many weak passes and some wayward crosses but he still provide some his skills with this type of goals. Some players are young and full of promise in their early 20s and Lingard might not be United’s number 1 at right wing after Mkhitaryan signing but if he performed in regular basis and whenever his team requires him, he will surely be Manu’s biggest asset in the near future.

Manchester City have recently signed some very promising young talents and they actually ditched their own buy-now-win-now mentality and start chasing for young transfer targets and Leroy Sane is one of them. He is only 20 and Man City signed him for €50m, so you can guess how much exciting this talent is. If he can adjust in the English game like he did previously in Schalke 04 shirt, which is a big ‘if’, then this sensational will contributed many under Pep and many years to come for City.

Reece Oxford made his first-team debut against Arsenal back in early last season, played against one of the great Premier League’s attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil and nearly put him in his pocket in the entire match. Oxford 16, starts two more games in the whole season after and total of 9 appearances, which is very low for such a bright talent in England. He hopes to turn these 9 appearances into a regular first team player this season. It remain if Slaven Bilic will feature him more this year and if not, there is host of other teams who’d like to have a center back of that quality and Manchester United and Tottenham are the likely suitors for this young bright center back.

Nathaniel Chalobah of Chelsea has just return from one of his six loan spells, the recent was a stint with Napoli in Serie A where he did perform some promising stuff and in the pre-season as well he also performed with above expectations. The 21 years old shows he can fill the holding midfielder role, and has the requisite boldness and skill to crack a game open with his dazzling performances recently.

Tottenham academy product, 19 years old playmaker, Josh Onomah is also a very promising player and he is also a young talent to watch for in the next season. He made 19 appearances for Tottenham, 7 of which were Europa matches. He showed he can become an exciting player in the couple of years or so with his fine performances though not particularly memorable one but still he can break into the first team squad in the next 2 to 3 years for the club.

Because of Anthony Martial and club captain Wayne Ronney injuries, Louis Van Gaal had no choice but to put Rashford into the spotlight last season and after that it was all Rashford’s show for the rest of the season. Scored two goals in his debut match in the Europa League, round of 32, for Manchester United against FC Midtjylland, then scored 2 goals against their bitter rivals Arsenal and against Manchester City at Etihad stadium which Man United won by 1-0. He was sensational in the last season for United, scoring goals, creating assists and because of his performances he was in the squad for England in Euros 2016. With that he was deemed to be the next big star in the future.
