PSG Begin their Title Defence with 1-0 Win

PSG starts their new compaign of the Ligue 1 2016/17 season with a 1-0 win over SC Bastia. Striker Jese set up a goal in first match for Paris-Saint German to begin their title defence with a win.

 Laywin Kurzawa converted the deflection in the 74^th min after Jese’s shot initially blocked by Bastia goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leca.

 Unai Emery starts with 4-2-3-1 formation with Ben Arfa starts upfront along with Lucas and Di-Maria on the wings and Javiar Pastore at No.10 position. The best chance in the first half fell to Bastian forward Enzo Crivelli, who fired a shot inches wide in the 20^th min of Alan Saint-Maximin cross. 

Monaco had a stuttering start against Guingamp in their opening match after came from 2 goals behind to make it 2-2, when Bernardo Silva scored the second goal six minutes left in the match to salvage a point.
